Amazing Tutorial by Jane!

I had to share this with you. Check this out! Jane of Maiden Jane posted a tutorial that is just the most creative and recyclable (is that a word?) idea that I have seen in a long time. It is titled - How to extend the sleeves of a coat. Considering how fast children grow, the economic issues of today and the environmental concerns.....this idea is a winner!

I love it when practical can be so pretty!  My 13 year old daughter raided my fabric stash to make me a mod mp3 case.

The fabric is chains (available in sand and okra) with a lining of Parade.

The case has handy pocket for the ear buds and a clip to attach to a belt loop.

Amy Butler's Laminated Cotton

While perusing the fabulous True Up Blog, I found some really thorough information about the new laminated cotton Love Collection by Amy Butler. The colors are dynamic and as always, the quality is very good. The article was by Kathy from the Pink Chalk Studio Blog: Laminate Cotton Sewing Tips and she did an incredible job!
